San Miguel Beermen finally broke their silence and bounced back from 2 straight losses after defeating TNT KaTropa 97-86 in 2017 PBA Philippine Cup Semi-finals and tied their standing with 2-2 on Tuesday night at Mall of Asia Arena.
Beermen in the current series were often seen struggling, but the defending champions picked up their games as more matches are progressing. In Game Four of the best-of-seven series, Beermen reached at 2-2.
Chris Ross led the San Miguel Beermen to 97-86 win over TNT KaTropa fired a career high 31 points on top of 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The team aim to take 3-2 lead on next match at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The two teams sized up each other in the first quarter with TNT taking the lead of 1 point at the end, 19-18. Beermen, however took the sprint in the 2nd quarter with Ross and Gabby Espinas taking charge and helping their team outscore TNT with 12 point lead, 26-13 and 44-32, at the halfway mark of the game.
It was 3rd quarter when Ross fired back-to-back triples and the team combining took the largest lead of 22 points, 76-54, with about a minute remaining.
TNT tried one last time in the 4th quarter, which trimmed the 22-point deficit to 9, 83-74, after Larry Fonacier smashed a triple with 7:01 left in the quarter to end.
June Mar Fajardo had a double-double of 15 points, 15 rebounds and managed four blocks while Marcio Lassiter added 12 points and 10 assists.
Fonacier carried TNT with 15 points, Jayson Castro finished at 13 points on 5-of-17 shooting from the field.
