The New York Knicks put Carmelo Anthony talks with other teams on hold according ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski.

“The New York Knicks are pausing trade talks centered on Carmelo Anthony and want to pursue a conversation with the 10-time NBA All-Star about possibly reincorporating him into the organization”

In the previous days, Anthony even decided to waive his no-trade clause to join either the Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Carmelo Anthony saga will not die down until the play will be given the team that he wanted except the New York Knicks. As the NBA free agency continues to succumb the teams, the issue on Anthony is far to the finish.

According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, Carmelo Anthony is willing to waive his no-trade clause just to play with the Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers. He is leaving New York and the Knicks want to trade him, however, a trade is too complicated.

“The Knicks have told people they don’t want to take back older players on longer contracts in any transaction. At the same time, many in the organization feel it’s best to trade Anthony. So that leaves New York in a tricky negotiating position.”

TotalProSports.com reported that Anthony just went to Houston. Absolutely, if Anthony will have to select a team, then he will have to select a contender aside from the Golden State Warriors. In Houston, Anthony has two guards to feed him in the offense and he has a chance to create a “Big Three” in the Western Conference that is capable of beating the Warriors. If he goes to play with LeBron James, then he will probably be playing in the NBA Finals this upcoming season.

Anthony has to make himself happy and New York is no longer giving him that enjoyment.
