Preview:

Tour de France Stage 13 features only 101km for the riders from Saint-Girons to Foix. Because of what happened in Stage 12 for Team Sky as they were unable to defend Chris Froome’s yellow jersey by losing to Fabio Aru despite the effort exerted in chasing the breakaway, Stage 13 is expected to be filled with actions.

One of the biggest questions rising for all the cycling fans would be how quick Team Sky will respond to take back the yellow jersey. Froome and GC leader Aru are just separated by six seconds and it is possible for Team Sky to make a strategy to launch Froome into the final ascent over the Col d’Agnes and Mur de Péguère which is just 27km descent to the finish in Foix. Everybody knows that Froome is capable of descending fast with accuracy just like the way he went on to offensive last year on Stage 8 at Bagneres-de-Luchon. Froome surprised everybody by winning in the downhill of col de Peyresourde. Does he has enough on the tank to do it?

The Top Four in the GC Standings are just separated by 35 seconds. This means that any of the cyclists will seize every opportunity to take time against their opponents. Romain Bardet is just 25 seconds while Rigoberto Uran is behind by 35 seconds. Though Froome is not on the yellow, he should not be banking on the individual time trial to win the tour. Froome has to attack and get back the yellow jersey.

Tour de France stage 13 will start at 6:25 AM ET and with the live television viewing in the United States by NBCSN which will begin the coverage at 8:00 AM ET.

Tour de France 2017 live stream is available on NBC Sports, NBC Sports App, NBC Sports Gold. Who will win the stage 13 of Tour de France 2017? It is available also in ITV4 and EuroSport.

Will this stage provide the viewers and fans a new wearer of the yellow jersey?

Currently, Warren Barguil is leading the Polka-dot – King of the Mountains classification with 70 points while Thomas De Gent is following with 32 points.
