Bali Pure topples UP for 3rd Solo Lead


BaliPure vented its aggression on the University of the Philippines by handing them a depressing loss of 25-23, 25-21, 25-23 and rising to solo 3rd place in the most interesting Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The three-time MVP winner of NCAA, Grethcel Soltones paced with team with 18 points, 16 from kills, while Risa Sato contributed 13 points including the last two points for Water Defenders.

Soltones after the match said –

However, Gorayeb wasn’t satisfied with the team and is looking for more aggression on field –

“They lacked aggressiveness. They have this tendency to play to the level of their opponents. But I believe they will settle down in time,” he said.
