Patriots vs Steelers odds and point spread: Will Big Ben dominate the defense of NE?

The New England Patriots will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in one of the biggest games in the NFL on Sunday, start time at 4:25 PM ET, at Heinz Field. The winner of this game will ultimately be the top seed of the AFC assuming that both will run out their schedule.

The New England Patriots (10-2) continuously playing superb at both ends of the field. After Week 13, Tom Brady has thrown for 3,632 yards and 26 touchdowns against four interceptions. However, Brady didn’t get a touchdown pass against the Bills defense in Week 13.

Dion Lewis leads in rushing with 590 ayrds and three touchdowns in 112 attempts while Mike Gillislee comes second with 355 yards and four touchdowns. Rex Burkhead and James White have combined for 415 yards and two touchdowns. In the receiving end, Brandin Cooks already posted 886 yards and five touchdowns in 55 receptions while Rob Gronkowski added 849 yards in seven touchdowns. Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan and James White had 400 plus yards each.

Offensively, the Patriots are averaging 29.0 points and 413.2 total yards (292.6 in passing and 120.6 in rushing) per game. Defensively, the Patriots are yielding 18.6 points and 375.7 total yards (254.9 in passing and 120.8 in rushing) per game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (11-2) are riding in a four-game winning streak. Four of their last five games have been won in last seconds field goals. The Steelers are coming from a 39-38 thriller win over the Baltimore Ravens in which Ben Roethlisberger completed 44 of 66 passes for 506 yards and two touchdowns.

On the ground, Le’Veon Bell rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns in 13 attempts. In the receiving end, Antonio Brown posted 213 yards in 11 receptions while Jesse James added 97 yards in 10 receptions. Bell contributed 77 yards and a touchdown in nine receptions while Vance McDonald 52 yards in four receptions.

Offensively, the Steelers are averaging 24.6 points and 381.2 total yards (281.5 in passing and 99.7 in rushing) per game. Defensively, the Stelers are yielding 19.3 points and 303.8 total yards (200.8 in passing and 102.9 in rushing) per game.
